DRIFTWOOD ART!

HELLO MY CANINE LOVERS! In this post i want to talk to you about a shop called THE DRIFTWOOD SHACK that offers AMAZING furniture/decor made out of wood that washes up on our coastline!

Now before you ask what this has to do with dogs, Toby Corall (Owner of The Driftwood Shack) has made some truly beautiful pieces with Wolves carved into the wood, there are also rustic looking dog lead hooks.

What i love about this is that all the pieces are unique and one of a kind. The wood that is used could have fallen off of a boat or a jungle tree where it then makes its long journey in the ocean to the coast where Toby finds it and gives it a new life!

To top things off Toby has a BIG helper to assist him with collecting wood from the ocean...Her name is Maya and she is a MALAMUTE!

FUN FACT: Malamutes are good swimmers as their double coated fur acts as a buoyancy aid! Very similar fur type to the Newfoundland.
