Hello Canine Lovers, in this post I will be showing you TEN different doggy products/DIY Ideas that I think are amazing and definitely need to be in my house!
1) The Suitcase Bed - I absolutely love this...If i had an old suitcase I would get to work on making a dog bed for Milo right away! I mean how much cooler can a dog bed get?! You could paint the case any colour you wanted AND find the funkiest cushion to fill it with!
2) Personalised Dog Lead Hook - I think this is very cute, and very easy to do even if you aren't a great painter! You could just dip the wood in a bright colour and once dry use different size sponges and a small paint brush to paint your dog, obviously the more colours your dog has the more complicated it may be! I would personally paint Milos name above the head as a nice touch.
3) Dog Feeding Tracker - I am actually considering purchasing this because knowing if the dog has been fed is a huge problem in my house....Milo is fed everyday at 7pm...however even after a big delicious bowl of raw food he still acts like a starving dog which leads to all the "Have you fed the dog?" quesitons...I know for a fact this would make feeding Milo easy as everyone will be able to see that he has been fed despite the constant begging!
4) Dog feeder and Storage Station - I love clever dog food storage ideas and this is a great but simple example of one! You take a wooden storage box, cut two holes in the lid that will fit the bowls perfectly and find a plastic storage container that will fit snugly into the box and TA-DAH, you have a custom made dog feeder and storage station
Great thing about making your own is that you can paint the wood to suit the rest of the room, build it the exact size you want it and possibly save money! If you are not a DIY lover then thats not a problem, you can find a variety of these online for lots of different prices!
5) Cake Mould - Sounds like a weird product to have for dogs but it can be extremely useful in the hot summer months! If you fill the mould with your dogs favourite treats or toys (or both!), fill it with water and then freeze it your dogs will have entertainment AND a great cooing treat during those hot summer days!
You can also use ice cream tubs, ice cube trays (for small treats).
6) Dog Travel Bag - I love doggy travel bags, When I take Milo on holiday I will be getting one just like this (maybe a bit bigger!) It just looks so good, youve got a zip compartment for your poo bags, nail clippers, food scoop (if your dog eats kibble), travel bowls, zip up bags for treats and food, a big compartment for toys, side mesh pouches which could be used for water bottles, it even has a pull out food matt!
7) Log Bowls - When I saw these I thought they looked so funky... I am the queen of dog bowls, Milo gets a new set every few months because I just love them! I would definitely purchase these bowls aslong as it was faux wood :) They are colourful, funky and I just love the whole nature look to them!
8) DIY Pet Teepee - I love DIY doggy stuff, and this teepee is just to cute! During the summer this would be a great shade shelter for your fur baby, or in the winter a nice cosy area in your home for them to relax. If you would love to make one of these click the link below to find out how!
9) Tennis Ball Game - I always like finding new games for Milo to play, we have two treat puzzles that he thoroughly enjoys so when I saw this I was very interested! I do think this game is more fun for dogs that are Milos size. Incase you aren't sure how the game works, you put a few treats in the muffin tray and cover it in tennis balls and then let your dog find the treats by lifting or pawing the tennis balls out of their way.
10) Dog plaque Collar Holder - I have saved the best for last...i am in LOVE with this collar/lead holder, i mean i would be wouldn't i? it looks like my little Milo!
I can safely say I would have one of these in my house as it is so cute!
